How to apply for the State Government's $3,000 COVID Grant


If you had previously received the South Australian State Government Small Business Grants (either 1 or 2) last year then you can now apply for the $3,000 COVID-19 Support Payment if you meet the following criteria:

  • Have a valid and active Australian business number (ABN) and were carrying on the operation of a business in South Australia.

  • Employ people in South Australia.

  • Have an annual turnover of more than $75,000 (excluding GST) in either 2019-20 or 020-21.

  • Have total Australian payroll of less than $10 million in 2019-20.

  • Have experienced at least a 30 per cent reduction in turnover in the week defined as Tuesday 20 July 2021 – Monday 26 July 2021 (inclusive) (compared to the prior 7-day period) due to restricted trading conditions.

If you had previously received one of the above-mentioned grants you will receive and email with a link to complete your online declaration to receive the grant.


If you did not receive one of the above grants or are applying for the $1,000 support payment you can still regsiter above, but the link will not be suplied to your business until it is ready.
